Sill For Sale
My 1998, 1.9, M 44 — pre-facelift needed new sills. I bought a left and a right from separate sources which were in a good enough condition to refurbish. They were shot blasted, stone chip applied and painted in BMW 309 ‘Arctic Silver’ and finally lacquered. Now for the sad bit and an admission of m...

Re: New Project - Breaking Z3 1.9 artic silver narrow body
Thanks for the fast response. However I really don't need a "project" at the moment (decorating seems to be the major project on my good lady's itinerary) I picked up a driver's side sill last week in fantastic condition and the right colour! The prospects of doing that with the passenger ...

I see the sills were provisionally sold, I take it they are both gone?

Guys Many thanks for your fast response and comprehensive practical advice. Whilst I am reluctant to go to the main dealer—it was bad enough with parts for the X5—I will contact them and see where we go from there. I am equally reluctant to change all my locks, taking into consideration that I just ...

Stolen Keys and Remote
Seeking a little advice: A month ago my BMW X5 was stolen from my front drive (we were still in the house at 6:30 in the evening when they smashed the kitchen door in ripped the keys from the lock and were gone like greased lightning) my Z3 was in the garage; pretty much laid up for the winter, but ...

With regard to the price, I did shop around and was quoted prices between £800 up to £1500. I was told by Ian that the slightly loose look of the leather is as a result of the original seat foam in the model that I have was not the one that has inbuilt braces, consequently he stretched it as tight a...

Many thanks
I wish I'd known this before (perhaps I did not search the database diligently enough) it would have saved me a lot of blood sweat and tears!

AC Pedals
I read through this topic and decided to get a set and fit them. Thank you for the info. No problem drilling the holes and fitting the brake and clutch; but fitting the accelerator pedal cover was a little more than "awkward" exacerbated by the fact I have Parkinsons and trying to get them...

I have had my Z3 for about four months. Ostensibly I bought it for my wife! The problem is I have become totally attached to It. I have just retired and I care not about my friends comments of trying to recapture my youth (Frog Eye Sprite, Yellow Spitfire, A Viva GT.........then the family started) ...
