Re: warning light

I do start it religiously every week in the garage and make sure it gets up to operating temperature That really isn't very good for engines. Even if you let the temp gauge get up to the middle, the car doesn't really get properly hot in the way it would if it was driven, and you'll encourage conde...

Re: Advice on Z4 purchase

Just seen a dirt cheap 2.5i Z4 automatic on AutoTrader. It is Cat D (which is why it is so cheap) and when I asked why, the dealership said it was 'water in the engine'. I am just wondering if I should stay clear and avoid like the plague or purchase it at such a low price and risk it. It is in oth...

If you have any issues with the roof motor try to knock the price down. Then you go to the Z4-forum.com there is a bloke in Durham who repair them and move them into the boot for £80. Look for the thread. Lots of people have had it done and not one complaint. See photos on the forum.

Re: I eventually bought a carwith a few faults.

I've been looking and asking for ages but eventually found a car on Facebook that had been advertised months ago with no response. One previous with 80k, dimming mirror, climate and stainless trim, that's it. The car had an annoying high pitched noise under light throttle, I've traced it to a rubbe...

After Glasgow, not much else until the second half of Loch Lomond where the traffic light controlled bit after Tarbet is now no more. (If you’ve driven it before you’ll know the bit I mean).
These temporary traffic lights have only been there 30 odd years
