Most Expensive Z3 ever?

http://www.usedcarsni.com/88558465

Could this be the world's most costly Z3? Beautiful though if you like a roof and very rare.

Have driven 5 series for a long time and now have the new shape F10. Great car and never had any problems - although never drove one out of warranty. M kit is nicer but would not worry about that for right car. Struggle for that fuel consumption I think if auto with air con on for climate control bu...

Washer jets

I bought new non return valves and jets for my screen washers but with the valves on the water only comes out of one side - the passenger side. If I leave the non return valves off they work evenly - with a delay until the water comes. Any ideas or do I take the hint that it's not a car for wet days...

Windscreen Washers

The windscreen washers on my Z are best described as useless, with no water or a faint stream from one side or the other. I have replaced the jets and have tried taking off the white (non return valves??) below them which has left them not working at all. The pump still pumps and water still comes u...

Rear light on driver's side needs to be tapped for bulb to light. All other lights in cluster normal. Have taken it out and all looks normal and clean. Any ideas about what to do. Seems a classic problem - but one I could do without!

Z3 Alarm

I have just realised that while my alarm does all the right things, in terms of setting and flashing lights if it is triggered by opening the boot the alarm itself does not make a noise. Can it be replaced, if so is it expensive - and in case it's something simple where is it on a new shape 2001 2.2...

Fuse went taking boot light bulb out - in case boot wouldn't close completely in the ice and bulb stayed on - but have blown fuse. Are boot and inside light only things on that fuse? Spare Key

Hi Marcus

Good thinking re getting the ordinary key as a spare - wish I had thought of that as I only wanted it as a spare too. However life is about the pursuit of knowledge! Good to know there are other Zs here in Northern Ireland.

Spare key

See that you are in Northern Ireland. I got one from Bavarian in Belfast and I think it was around the price othes are quoting. You will need the V55 and your driving licence to prove ownership and it takes about two days to come. They programme it to the car as part of the price - only takes a minu...

Glad to know that it is not as complicated as it looks! Noticed today that the passenger side wiper arm is catching the edge of the bonnet - not badly but enough not to be healthy in the longer term for the paint! Mr 2001 2.2 litre Z has an occasional annoying problem. Hi Jonttt I think the 2.2 engine is fantastic - loads of torque and a great exhaust note. Makes the car a much better long journey car than the 1.9. Re Non starter

As I understand it he checked the system for a current leakage. Cleaned the mechanism which turns off the boot light and now the meter shows no leakage of current. That said he is keeping the car overnight to make sure the battery holds its charge. Fingers crossed!

Just for interest I took the car to the garage in Belfast (GM Autohouse - very good). This was after battery drained even further. Out of the blue my Z3 will not start. Just goes click, click click when I turn the key. Battery or solenoid? Loose Pipe

I have just bought a 1999 Z3 1.9 as a fun car for the elusive summer days. Beside the battery there is a plastic pipe which goes through a hole on the right side of the boot floor. It is not connected at the other end. What is it, and where should it go?

Many thanks
