The females of the house, (human and canine) are forbidden entry after they refused to wear the supplied plastic shoe covers, white cotton gloves and deliberately put a pair of pliers back into it's labeled foam drawer insert upside down. Hence the Z1 print, and others, are now banned in the house....

Just live with a holed heat shield and the associated OCD. OCD is usually triggered by the 'visible', so as the gasket isn't the ...

The crack is on the sill panel inline with the rear of the door, about 3" long now. I had the same problem, MOT guy jacked car up resting on sill, had mine repaired, they did a very good job. Grind down both sides, rebuilt with layers of flexible material, then painted back and front. Suggest remov...

Re: Z1 - crack repairs
Kossyk repair kit is pretty good, however I would say it depends where it is and how far its progressed. Wings, inspect regularly, once it starts drill a small hole at the base to stop it progressing, then use the repair kit. Then strengthen all 4 mounting holes as a precaution and renew the rubber ...

Also, when the engine is warm, the horn doesn't work, though I can't tell if this starts to fail at the same time as the ticking begins. I can't s...

BMW Z1 - Strangest modern BMW - Doug DeMuro
Very Interesting Z1 review by youtuber Doug DeMuro.
Pay close attention to the car itself, being US based parts are scarce, which might explain it, but how many 'anomalies' can you spot?
I counted 7.
