Hi Pair of orginal Z3 door hockeys , orignal plastic covered with layer of real carbon fiber (twill pattern) . Homemade , it's mine first carbon fibred part so quality is not excellent. My bet is that the noise is a combination of slight clutch drag and the rubber propshaft coupling stiffening up when cold. For sure not ! :( I've also just changed rubber coupling for brand new Lemforder and no change at all ! Also for sure it's not cluch because I hear silent knock also when I don...

the better half had this on her Zed, I thought it was just the suspension, but turned out gearbox mounting bracket was badly cracked :shock: She probably could n't hear it very often because of the volume she plays her stereo at :lol: Could be worth checking..? I have same problem, and two more 2.8 on polish Z forum also have that . You have LSD right? Try to put special oil to diff (it's oil recommend by bmw when that problem appears): part no 8 322 228 25 83 , You need 1.1l Please report it that helped or not. http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/images/dis/15...

You need DIS software and there is option to retrofit OBC in Your car . I got same problem but was MPG and I need l/100km :D . DIS helped me .

From what I know manual 2.8 has 3.15 ratio , and 2.8 auto have 4.10 ratio .

c_w how much for that z3M diff ? Doesn't it 3.23 ? I have thought that M have 3.23 :roll: .

You may be better off trying eBay or a breakers for the trim. I think there are very few airbag red leather ///M interior cars to begin with. Finding one that is being broken for parts is unlikely.
