Window relay?

Hi guys, just bought a 2005 2.0 roadster with a wonky driver's window. Simply no response from the switch. My mechanic tells me he found it's the window relay and says the part is only available from BMW and is 144 quid!!!! Can this be true?
Would appreciate any guidance here please.

Oxygen or Lamda sensors
