Airbag reset needed in Tottehnam
Hi,
Just thought I'd ask if there was anybody near Tottenham in North London who would be willing to reset my airbag light?
Otherwise, I think I'll give this a try:

Unbelievable, what a new pair of shocks do!! Mine is lowered with AC springs, so automatically thought it was a harsh ride due the the aggressive drop. After a small heartache of failing an MOT in June for a leaking shock absorber, the garage changed that shock to pass the MOT. However, it started t...

Something strange happened to me with this fuel guage issue. Always fill up with V-power 98, Guage occasionally shows false readings.. Tried Esso 95, Problem solved?? However, I did notice a loose pipe underneath the car close to the fuel tank! Reconnected pipe, but now the fuel guage seems to fluct...

Re: Calculation
Yes, thats how I calculate it.Mike Fishwick wrote:As per the recent thread on a 'Thursty' 2 litre engine, have you calculated your fuel consumption by filling the tank fully, and then dividing the distance covered by the amount of fuel (in gallons) used to refill the tank to full.

Had a look at the MAF sensor today, ready to give it a blasting with some electrical contact cleaner, but... it was spotless! In fact, I don't even think its the original one? Made by siemens and didn't have any screws to remove. It was a 1 piece, sensor attached to a plastic tube, which goes betwee...

update;
I bought this kit off eBay;
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWNX:IT
Its very difficult sanding glass, takes ages with slow progress.
The scratch didn't come out completely, but its loads better!

battery has been disconnected recently.
new spark plugs, new air filter element.
tyres are set at 32 psi, wheels are running freely.
used shell v power 98 octane.
combined driving averaged 21-22 mpg from tank to tank around 43 litres.
Have I missed anything? I might try to clean the MAF sensor next.

Got the thermostat here;
http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/BMW_Z ... hermostats
Coolant from BMW around £7 a bottle (2 x 1.5L).
Not diffucult to do if you remove the fan.
Temperature goes up very quick now and stays in the middle, well worth it!
