Dolz water pump, brand new in box and Contitech belts, also brand new. High quality replacement pump with metal impaller £40 ono plus postage at cost.

Those silly wheels didn't help it's cause IMO. Probably just as cheap to get one supplied and fitted and a lot less bother. I was looking at getting one from Soft Tops of Croydon this winter, they would have supplied and fitted for well under £300 as I remember.

In the end I cleaned and protected mine instead so I decided not to bother.

I bought a cheap hand held one off ebay, not had cause to use it yet though. It comes with a comprehensive instruction / code booklet.

My feeling is that it is just a display for the code stored in the ECU so does not need to be all singing and dancing!

£4.5k for a '97 2.8, even with low miles and a FSH that seems at least £1k overvalued. I paid less than £4.5k for my 2001 3.0 last summer!!!
