cheers guys, found them no probs. Didnt wat to start taking bits off i didnt need too. Next one i had a look at removing the damper. Cant get the bottom bolt undone, is there a special trick or am i being a girl. I was only using a normal rachet, am i going to need more leverage or a breaker bar etc...

Hi all Half way through putting some H&R coilovers on the //m. Before i take it all apart how do i get to the rear top mounts??? Is it just a case of lifting out the little bit of lining where the hood folds into or do i need to take trim parts off??? Thought i would ask before i start the rear ...

also the plate is legaly spaced for normal use, i got a set like above made up for shows.

Trick of the light im afraid. its on my todo list but quite near the bottom so maybe one day.

When i start the s50 up i get a faint tapping noise for about the first 30 seconds. It sounds like its coming form the back of the engine ie: towards the bulkhead. Now is it just the valve clearences need checking, or is my hearing playing up and its actually the vanos starting to die ???? Only happ...

The z3m is my first rwd car and its fine aslong as you take it easy. In the dry its fine has lots of grip. The wet is a different matter but take it easy and its ok. If you drive it like you stole it everywhere then it will bite, but if you take it steady and build up confidence in it over time its ...

Saw 2 or 3 of these at the ring last weekend and they are beautiful up close, sound and go well too.

Managed to break the gearknob on the z3m at the ring this weekend, So im after a illuminated m tech 5 speed gear knob. Anyone got one laying around?

Seen a few on ebay but they look dodgey also do bmw still do them ??? Found it on real oem works out about £67 plus vat.

Hi New to the forum been looking around here for month or so. Got myself a silver 99 z3m, so far im loving it apart form the suspension. It currently has pi lowering springs but these are far too soft just deciding if a new set of springs will solve the problem or new shocks/ coilovers. cheers harry
