Hey Kevin, thats actually my one - happy to chat about it if you like. i spent ages in the company of these nice folks on here to 'improve' the zed. I would reccommend taking your time to look at as many as you can as a lot have had some hard times that you'll find on autotrader etc. rollhoops are a...

Re: Which model Z3 should I buy !!!
Hi, I need help from all you experienced Z3 owners. I want to buy a Z3, which model should I buy?. I have seen a very nice 1.9 2001 model advertised for about £5000, but I have also seen advertised many early 1.9's for around £3,500, or should I go for 6 cylinder model?. So much to learn an...

OT FS again ! Durst C35 35mm complete darkroom
Folks - apologies for the off topic again but thought i would offer this to some Z3 owner who still shoots 35mm film ? ok so this one really needs to be a collection as its way to tricky to post. Im in Windsor in Berkshire so best factor that in when looking at this kit. anyway, im selling all my ph...

+1 on what Robert said flood damage and electrics = not a happy combo IMO when this sort of thing happens various elements start to malfunction after as time goes by. i would strongly recommend independent survey of all systems - you may well find they end up writing off the car then as it would be ...

expect some mods if you do go that route as i think the connections would need to be modified to work with the cable in the car ? best bet on connections is to check realoem to see what sort there is on yours other than that its a aerial... not much to say about them really whats the problem with yo...

2.0 is the worst as a motoring proposition in my view. Fuel consumption pretty much the same as a 2.8 with no more useable power than a well maintained and sorted 1.9. in fact given the choice between the 2.0 and 1.9 (and i did have the choice when i bought mine) I would take the 1.9 any day - its m...

+1 def best idea to drive a few. i drove the 2.8 and whilst i liked it it did feel heavy both on the cornering and throttle. dont forget that for me i got the 1.9 as i had to start with zero no claims again as the zed is our toy so all my full NCD has stayed on the 320d estate. the 2.8 was a lot mor...

ive got the 1.9 and i wouldnt say its underpowered and its every bit as much fun as any other zed IMO. ok so it doesnt have the sound of the 2.8 but then again its lighter at the front and easier making progress through the twisties. would def get a car with rollhoops and make sure you put some focu...

i would have thought that it would be a $tealer route for these. at £130 for the pair its decent value and i would imagine anyone with the mounts would want to sell the whole kit as a complete conversion ? might be wrong tho - someone was potentially scrapping a 'zed that had rollhoops on here and t...
