Re: new outer sills
I've never had a great experience there really, they only seem to want to know if your looking at buying a new car. They never seem interested when I mention my car is a Z3. I've stood around in there for ages before anyone will come to help me, maybe because I don't look as if I can afford a new BM...

When I went to Rybrook in Shrewsbury for a quote for a front bumper respray they couldn't give me a straight answer. Saw a couple of different guys who said it wasn't their department and the third guy only gave me a rough price of £500. I sat down with him and asked if he could send me the quote ov...

Same quality, both recommended. Croydon one didn't come with relief pockets, but I think he makes them himself so it could probably be done but would probably cost more.

First one on my old zed was from Soft Tops in Croydon at £325, but I think they are £400ish now. The one I had last year in December was from Jack Smith Trimmers in Swansea at £300. Both prices are supplied and fully fitted.

I know that aftermarket soft-tops usually don't have them - one of the reasons why aftermarket soft tops are cheaper. Mine aftermarket one still has them and it was the cheapest available in the UK, £300 fully fitted. I have had aftermarket ones with and without and didn't notice any difference at ...

New updates - Z3 silhouette decals on the ///M gills changed from blue to burgundy to match the roof and also the chrome slats have been plastidipped. Don't know how long this will last, might just do them properly in paint now as I prefer them black. https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2867/33172760444_8...

it can be better than the dealers doing it. Or not doing it which is more often the case! They can get away with it with the majority of people. It depends on how much of the exhaust you want to or need to replace? A quick search on eBay shows you can pick up a rear silencer for as little as £45 and a cat for £65, then you need to get it fitted which could be at least an hours labour at a garage and upwards I would guess. It depends on how w...
