Aerial fell apart!
Hi guys, the other day the wife came home in the car and I noticed the aerial was missing from the back! I had a closer look, nothing was ever loose, it would appear the rubber has failed and literally sheered away! I managed to get the aerial base unit out and apart to see where the fail was, it wo...

Central Locking stopped working
Hi guys, I hope everyone is well! Its been a while since I was last on here! The Z3 has been giving sterling performance as per usual but just the other day when I pressed the key fob to lock the car, nothing happened. It was working fine one day then with no cause that I'm aware off it stopped. The...

Seat Adjustment Question
The other day getting into the Z3 I noticed the drivers seat was as low down as possible. I normally have it sitting about mid way up and down. It now refuses to go up or down, back and forwards still works, but up and down will not. The strange thing is this is the second time this has happened. Wh...

Annoying rattle from the rear
Fortunately I am only talking about the car! Ive only ever been in 1 other Z3 so its difficult to compare, but there seems to be an awful lot of rattles from the back of my Z3, its very obvious when driving over an uneven road or surface, like something is very loose underneath the car. Ive had her ...

I had an issue like this about a year ago when sitting at home I could suddenly hear my nearest and dearest alarm going off, jumping up I ran outside only to find the car sitting there, nobody near it, but the alarm was going off. Thanks for the reply guys and apologies for me taking so long to get back! I think the shock absorbers and or springs may be one road to take to trying to sort this out. Hi all, I seem to be having a real problem with the Z3. The rear tyres are wearing out at an extremely excessive rate, after about 5000 miles the tyres are bald...and I mean bald! The other day I was getting the car sprayed with Waxoyl for the winter when the guy doing it said the rear tyres were co...

Hi guys, I climbed into the car the yesterday to head home from work and noticed the seat seemed lower. Thanks for the replies guys. As far as I can tell the car isnt and has never been lowered, she sits about the same height as any other Z3 ive seen. Hi guys, im having an issue with the rear wheels of my Z3. For some time now the rear wheels seem to be wearing out VERY quickly on the inside. I left the car in with a local garage to let them have a look at it, and to sort out the lights and alarms, which seem to have developed faults on the back on the condensation problems. Turns out it was literally just a few fuses gone for the lights as I suspected. As for the alarm, the tilt sensor ...
