Re: BMWCCGB Zedfest, 20 – 22 July 2012, Silverstone Circuit

As you look at the car from the rear, the right hand side of both tailipes is slightly proud of the left hand side, so that they appear to follow the line of the bodywork, but they are not slanted from top to bottom. They're the same as the ones I have now - the originals didn't follow the body wor...

Re: BMWCCGB Zedfest, 20 – 22 July 2012, Silverstone Circuit

I have a pair of original equipment 65mm chrome twin tailpipe ends from my 1999 2.8, in perfect condition, which have been cluttering up my garage cupboards since I had a stainless steel Eisenmann system fitted around five years ago. I will bring them to Silverstone with me tomorrow (Friday), and a...

Re: BMWCCGB Zedfest, 20 – 22 July 2012, Silverstone Circuit

The vehicle pass is a separate piece of paper, grey and white, slightly larger than the ticket, with your vehicle registration clearly printed on it along with the designated area to which it applies. It needs to be affixed to your windscreen. Tickets you will likely need to have about your person ...

Alarm thinks door isn't shut

When I set the alarm, it goes off shortly after. I've discovered it's because the car thinks the driver's door is still open - the interior light isn't going off when the door is closed. I've looked and can't see where the sensor is for this. On past cars there have been sprung pins below the door h...
