M Sport suspension Poly bush sizes
Evening all, Have any of you fine folks with Sport suspension replaced your ARB bushes for Poly bushes? If so can you tell me what size bushes you used. The reason I ask is that RealOEM is telling me that the front ARB on my 2002 2.2 Sport is a 25.5mm one, however I'm unable to find anywhere that do...

Subaru Forester...? No way, I wouldn't recommend a Forester. We have a 2006MY Prodrive 2.5XT and it'll only average around 30mpg. It's fun with around 270BHP but has been quite unreliable and Subaru parts prices are ridiculous. I'd stick to something German, a nice A6 or similar for me........

Just a quick update, my wheels are ET 43 all round (off a 3series) The fronts are only just within the arches, just about legal, however the rears could do with spacing out about 10-15mm. I was contemplating spacing out the fronts slightly to avoid the rubbing but they'd be too far out. Thankfully t...

Re: Has anyone gone 235/40/18 on the front?
Just seen this thread
I've got 235/40/18's on the front of mine after I bought some cheapish wheels and tyres while I have my original Type 78's refurbed.
Unfortunately they do rub slightly on full lock but it's not too bad, and they passed the MOT fine despite this.

You can ask for photographic evidence of the offence from the police.
Surely if your wife was not there they wouldn't be able to provide it.
There's also the possibility that your registration plate has been cloned, I had this happen on one of my bikes a few years ago

The Sport springs are lowered and uprated (ie stiffer) and I believe the shocks have a different stroke to match the lower springs (about 30mm lower) They will be ok for your 1.9 however just changing the rears will screw up your suspension geometry and affect the handling. If you use them you'll al...

Hi Topperz,
I've had a look on here

And as you say they're only shown in 15 and 16 inch
I'm wondering whether they are actually Type 78's which are 17 inch and were fitted to some E36's and Zeds like my Sport.

The only thing that I think they've got wrong is the positioning of the boot badge - it reminds me of poorly repaired crash damage where they never put the badges back on properly
