Having just read this, it's worth noting for those that use garage air lines that these may not be very acurate and it's worth investing in a quality analogue pressure gauge, and to also check tyre pressures when cold. And as already stated ( even though I'm new to zeds) they are very sensitive to t...

Plugs etc., for 2.8

Going to give the zed a mini service in a couple of weeks, the previous owner had an oil and plug change by a mobile mechanic, and the receipt just list synthetic oil and plugs, so what plugs does everyone use and what grade full synth oil, on my scoob I've always used Millers or Motul full synth. C...

Hood cleaning

Before I give the hood a good scrub and reproof, is it safe to give it a soapy jet wash first as its really grimey and got the odd bit of veg  growing round the bottom where it meets the bodywork.

Cheers

Auxillary Fan

Found the fuse for the auxillary fan blown, now I'm assuming that this is the one that sits infront of the rad? If so is it a rad out job to replace as its seized solid, or is it possible to do it without removing to many parts?

Cheers

Cheers,

Its part 3 that has failed, tbh was expecting it to be a lot more cost wise as having been a jap owner for years was expecting anything from germany to be expensive

Inlet pipe

Hi folks, Finally got round to having a proper close look under the bonnet since getting our Zed a fortnight ago, and I've found that the inlet pipe from the MAF to the manifold is split in a couple of place ( the bulges on the bends ) so was wondering if anyone had one lying around for a Mar 99 2.8...

Hi guys, thanks for the advice picked one up yesterday 2.8 met blue in reasonable condition, so going to give it a bit of tlc to make it sparkly then we'll be happy, only problem that came up since getting it is that we had one hell of a thunder storm yesterday evening and got a few drips while driv...

Newbie just about to take the plunge

Hi All,

Apologys if there's an FAQ section but can't see one at the mo, just about to start looking for a Z3 auto so was after some pointers as to what to look out for, probably looking at a 2.8 late 90s model.

Cheers for the help in advance.
