Before I give the hood a good scrub and reproof, is it safe to give it a soapy jet wash first as its really grimey and got the odd bit of veg growing round the bottom where it meets the bodywork.

Found the fuse for the auxillary fan blown, now I'm assuming that this is the one that sits infront of the rad? If so is it a rad out job to replace as its seized solid, or is it possible to do it without removing to many parts?
