you may or may not remove that rod connecting to motor together with the "kebab", but i think it is easier to reinstall the whole thing if that rod is together with "kebab"

find a garage for a proper code checking (or do it yourself if you have GT1/INPA/etc)

there can be many causes for your problem....so I think code checking is the best way to start with

I have repaired the ABS module myself before (i.e. the problem mentioned by swamper in his post)

sorry to brought up this thread again

may I ask if only one side got the spring as in my case, will that cause imbalance and make the only spring fatigue and break sooner?

and should i replace the side with absent spring with a simple random spring or sth to act as a tensioner for the inner lining?

so finally i tighten the nuts on both sides against the bar
it seems to me the bar is loose at the junction between the threads for the nut and the bar, and the nut is to tighten up that junction
so now there is no more loosening

I agree. Leave it connected and run it occasionally. Note that the alarm may not be active if you disconnect the battery. If the car is stolen the insurance might get picky as they usually do. how to reactivate the alarm after reconnect a disconnected battery? i am thinking to deal with my seat roc...

both of my z3 3.0 seats (original sports seat) will move slightly forward then backward if the brake was applied in a abrupt manner (actually not very abrupt)
this is a little bit annoying
otherwise both seats work fine

can someone pls advice which part is loosen/broken and how i should tackle this?

it is now about 3 weeks after i change to new suspension when i hv the fuel tank fully filled, the rear obviously lowered more and the camber looks more -ve. I know it is normal to sag a bit but when i measure it, the right side lowered for 10mm and left side 5mm. is that range supposed to be normal...

i also had hunter wheel alignment done recently after changing suspension altho the rear camber could not be adjusted, the report still shows some improvement before (3'16'') and after (2'46'') alignment (don't know why)...with my bare eyes i could still appreciate the similar -ve camber for the fro...
