find a garage for a proper code checking (or do it yourself if you have GT1/INPA/etc)
there can be many causes for your problem....so I think code checking is the best way to start with

I agree. Leave it connected and run it occasionally. Note that the alarm may not be active if you disconnect the battery. both of my z3 3.0 seats (original sports seat) will move slightly forward then backward if the brake was applied in a abrupt manner (actually not very abrupt)

it is now about 3 weeks after i change to new suspension when i hv the fuel tank fully filled, the rear obviously lowered more and the camber looks more -ve. I know it is normal to sag a bit but when i measure it, the right side lowered for 10mm and left side 5mm. is that range supposed to be normal...
