tried, wd40, meths and turps, all no good, i managed to remove it with petrol and a few hours graft (blisters to prove it!)

ive recently upgraded my speakers as the standard ones are poor (in my opinion) you can fit 5 1/2 in the front, buy a decent set of component speakers (seperate tweeter for the door) and forget the rears, they are not worth the effort (trust me i spent days experimenting putting rear speakers) altho...

My gauge on my 1.9 shows as half full for ages then dramatically drops below 1/4 then I have about 10 miles before the tank shows empty I think the gauge needs changing but no doubt your may not be working correctly and giving false readings

hi wonderloaf, i bought the spacers from thompsons in macclesfield for £6, i then took the original BMW speaker out and drilled the holes, the original is a silly size and unless you want to drill into the bodywork. the 6 /1/2 are too big and the 5 1/4 although i think they are 5" are too small...
