Re: Alarm - help needed please

Thank you for that, I'll try to get at it, look like water bottle out etc.

Do you know if it is a clever siren or could I just fit an aftermarket unit?

Alarm - help needed please

I own a S54 and am somewhat confused. In the literature for the car it says that an alarm is standard. In the Thatcham records it states that ALL Z3s have alarms as standard. I lock the car with the button on the key - so alarm set. yes? To test the alarm, I unlock the the door with the key, not on ...

Re: MK Motorsport Exhaust

Fitted them on Monday - took about an hour and half. First thing was they are not as loud as I thought, but at low revs, a very deep note. The overal tone seems smother, but without hearing it race by I cannot give full comment. One thing that was very noticable, the engine seemed much smoother and ...

MK Motorsport Exhaust

After much searching, I have just received from Germany a set of MK Motorsport silencers (!?!). They were manufactured by Remus for MK and according to Remus are the same apart from the tail pipes - they have 70mm i/d pipes with a short kick up . They are meant to improve flow etc etc and should be ...

Re: Pair of tickets available

I have a pair of 3 day tickets available - any offers? I booked them on the club deal - the car pass is probably no use as it is has my reg no. on it, but maybe the organisers could help out. Unfortunately, we are now not able to attend. I booked eveything ages ago, even got a super deal at a hotel!...

M Roadster/Coupe Standard Silencers

I have a pair of standard silencers from a Z3M up for offers. They are clean, in good condition and have all the mounts with them.
They are heavy so its collect from Hastings or probably around £50 to ship them.

Re: Hosepipe bans

Glad we didn't fill the well in! It's been laying dormant for 30 years - not any more.

15m deep with 4m of water, draper pump and 25m hose - bingo!

Checked with SWA and as long as it is my water source, I can use it "with" a hosepipe/ pressure washer.

Hi Ron,

Unfortunately we will not be able to join you as "family" are invading over that week-end.

We have registered for Silverstone - all days, so see you then if not before.

Hope you have a good cruise!

Hi Exdos,

The problem only related to a batch of engines produced in 2001 which were fitted to E46 M3s and late e36/7 Z3Ms. The issue was sorted before the production of the E85/6 Z4M

Mine has now been fitted with ARP bolts and new shells.
