I'm installing a wideband kit to monitor the fuelling as I've got a vortech fuel management unit put in. However I think it will need some sort of mapping to rescale the maf depending how it runs.

Thanks the vinyl is great also has the texture of the grain, just need to do the dash centre now which I think will be a bit more effort.

I think the added chrome and boot spoiler are not working either on that car (IMO). Remove the front two nuts move seat forward then disconnect the battery. This will give access to the rear bolts and wiring before you disconnect it.

Yes it is I'm working on it been a busy lately with baby and buying a house but I have also got a lot done on the zed just not had time to load things up. Been working on seat brackets today hopefully have them fitted by next week. Really wish I hadn't sold the M seats but too late now and strugglin...

My mrs works in the naffy at the aviation museum. I'd recommend the Props and Pistons show you can also display your zeds and probably get a discount through that. The air displays are great there as well :wink:

You need to drop it on the floor really to see what it's going to sit like. As said the wheels will camber in anyway when lowered so you may get away with them. Do you know what width and ET the new rims are?

As said I used 1500 wet and dry however, if you've started with a 6 or an 800 you will probably have to work up the grades to get the scratches out. I polished up with 3M fine cutting compound, G3 would do it too. Also plenty of elbow grease :D

I see you have the projector headlights the same as me. What u need to do is sand the coating off with 1500 wet and dry paper then polish up once all the coating is removed I may be able to find some pics of mine.

Didn't havee any issues with the spoiler just take time in marking and cutting. Also put a groove on the backside to let water drain else it will fill up in the recess.

I changed all mine without moving the tank not sure if pre and post facelift are different though? As said above the materials aren't expensive for this job just labour, unless you can unbolt and fit the pipe yourself along with bleeding the system?

My cat was rattling in my 2.8 the asc light kept illuminating and the car was really hesitant on the power and didn't want to accelerate. I removed the cat which when I gave it a shake it rattled like a maraca. Never had any problems since. If you have a code reader handy worth putting it on to see ...

Thanks Mark I've looked into other peoples builds of similar spec one ran off the pas pump and another from the water pump so far with a good 10k ish miles no problems to report so will see how it goes. Possibly but need to get the cooler pipe work on first as it will be coming up behind the headlight. Just thought the inlet would look good there maybe painted a different colour. I know a lot of people on here probably don't like this sort of thing :twisted:

Got the intercooler mounted. What's peoples thoughts on the cold air feed placement? Looks great, good job. Can you route the air inlet to the front, over or under the charger? Incoming air will be warm where you have it so there is less density and massflow. Done a bit more today mounted the charger bracket and started the pipe work to the air filter which needs a couple of mods. The only bit I'm concerned about is the only place I can get the expansion tank is next to the air filter although I'm running an intercooler so can't see it'll matter that muc...

I seam welded my boot floor, diff mount and crossmember a couple of weeks ago I had two spot welds popped in my 2.8! Hopefully cured the problem!
