Re: Drivers seat jammed - have tried all tips here!
Thanks, the motor is fine. Had the garage sort it out, think they had a driver that fitted the square drive perfectly and freed it. Still not as smooth as I would like so will sort it when I have time. Many thanks all!

Re: New Project - Breaking Z3 1.9 artic silver narrow body
Thanks for a speedy response- it looks a bit worse for wear. Did it work when on the car and how many bulb holders do you have? I have a few badly corrided ones and would hope to make a full set from two iffy ones. What do you want for this item including p&p (including bilb holders), I am in so...

Re: Drivers seat jammed - have tried all tips here!
Thanks for the ongoing support. Will try the connections in case the lack of power is that simple, used a 12v battery to power the motor when disconnected but while it clunks, no movement. Seat now free to move back and for on the rail several mil but nothing more. Thinking of taking the advice of d...

Re: Drivers seat jammed - have tried all tips here!
WD40 exhausted and so am I! I have no power to the seat, maybe a switch problem (I hope) or a problem with the power supply-fuse is OK. Put an alternative 12v supply to the motor but while it is working it had no effect I removed the motor and tried a square drive in the alloy box both sides but whi...

Hi all. Finally about to MOT my 2.8 and I can still not move my jammed seat. Yes I know this is covered elsewhere but I have tried all tips so far with no success. The passenger side was a doddle and is now serviced but the drivers seat is at it's rearmost setting so I cannot access the bolts to rem...

Re: Spares wanted - rear centre stoplight cover
hello again
Afraid I am a numpty - it is the front nearside clear plastic lense cover (sidelights?) that I am after-plus of course the boot mounted red plastic cover!
A good set of cheap black leather seats wouldn't go amiss either! (or just the motor connections)

Many thanks for such a speedy response- I shall have to check the colour of the lense - as to the stoplight the one on it is red not silver- surely all brake lights are redam I missing something?

Spares wanted - rear centre stoplight cover
Hello all. Now that the weather is looking brighter I am looking for a few spares to get ready to enjoy the Welsh sunshine  . I need a boot mounted brake/stoplight lense cover (or complete assembly) and a front LHS indicator cover. Anyone have such for sale or know a good place to find them? An...

Re: condensation in the boot?
Just wanted to add my experience- my Z leaked like a sieve at first with inches of water in the main compartment and litres in the boot. The seal on the 3rd brake light was one culprit and treating my roof with Renevo has virtually stopped the leaks in the interior- amazing stuff (plus the rear wind...

South West France

Thanks for this, think the battery has drained as I have no power at all. The light fitting on the boot has been sealed and this avoids the previous pool I was finding every time it rained in the bootwells. I have been looking for other sources of ingress on this site and sorted out a few but vlearl...

Waterlogged and no electrics - where to start
After a week of rain I found a pool of water in both footwells of my Z3 plus a little more in the boot. I have no electrics whatsoever.
Any suggestions as where I should start?

Drivers RHS brake light fault
I cannot find a suitable thread here so apologies if this has been covered previously. My RHS brake lights on boot lid and rear cluster are nor working - any suggestions where to look for a cause? I have had water in the boot but this is 'solved' now and cannot see any obvious signs of damage or dam...
