Window height stop
I had an issue with the window not stopping at the correct height - you could say it was "over the top".. The adjustment bolt on the regulator appeared to be missing the "stop fitting" inside the door. The bolt passed below and forward of the little welded in stop plate at the top. All the regulator...

Re: 3 piece Z3 Boot spoiler
In a word - yes. I really don't like it.
The holes are easily repaired and a bit of a paint job won't do any harm. I'm not in a rush, so if I sell it, I'll do the repairs at that time. If I don't sell it and I decide to take it off, it'll be because I want to do the job at that time.

Re: Hi, a few questions
Your choices to get a couple of inches are limited to having a professional relocate the mounting studs (front) and threaded bolt holes (rear) to which the seat base rails are fixed. Alternately, you can check the current position of the holes in the seat slides and see if there's a couple of inches...

Hi Alec
I had a look at that part too, and as you say it's so small that it's impossible to say what it is. It may well be the part, but if you can have a look on your car, I'd appreciate it.

Hi Alec. Sunshine is great thanks! I've found a really nice z3 which is in need of some TLC, so took it on as a restoration project. The parts I need aren't attached in any way to the large "main" wheel arch trim. I have posted a link to a pic on Imgur (haven't figured how to post the pic here yet)....

Thanks for the reply. These vehicles aren't that scarce here, it's just the climate here is such that they never "die", so parts are very hard to come by. Hi Pete I don't have any, and not making them any longer. You'll have to shop around for a set of cheap OEM headlights with the clear lenses fitted. The unit has a little "key" which passes through a small notch cut out in the console hole at the 12 o clock position, ( I think - may be 3 o clock) then turned so the key prevents it coming out. It's a tight fit, and without the console out, you need to access from the driver side by removing the s...
