Removed this from my 1998 Z3MR at 46k miles. In excellent condition, only removed to 'upgrade' to a standard rack which is a quicker ratio.

Z3M front brake pads - SOLD

Removed these standard pads to put ETB's on. They had done 10k miles, and I'd guess they were easy miles given how much meat is still left on them and how little wear there was on the discs.

Hi Ian. I have to agree with c_w on the advert. You show the car at a race track and parts of it on the floor, now you want everyone to assume you are a top engineer, if not they may think its not as an M should be. Why dont you just advertise it as all the other m`s that have been sold sucessfully...

as others have said, if you apply some logic and don't force them in you'll find they're easy to replace. Just give yourself some space, i.e. not in a single garage.

Thanks for the replies so far, others welcomed. There's a master plan re: changing the Z3MR... it involves a Z4MC. Last week I test drove the Z4M Coupe and I loved it. The plan is to get out of my 320d and into the Z4MC, to sell the Z3M, and to run just one car for a while. Thanks again for feedback...

Sorted the insurance today, extra £110 for the remaining 5 months, which covers -

increasing annual miles from 3k to 5k
adding my 30 year old GF
list of mods = brake pads, braided lines, ACS suspension, H&R ARB's, poly bushes.

Yes, they're classed as uprated brakes. I'm just going through the tortuous process of letting my insurers know my mods, and brake lines and brake pads are on their list, so I assume that most insurers would call them mods. (I'm with Footman James).

Hi, The usual way to adjust the rear geometry is to remove the subframe and have adjuster plates welded onto the trailing arm brackets.
