Re: Is it me or are 2.8 low milage Zeds not around for sale?
2.8 s yes,it's the other bit - low mileage - that there are few of. I regularly look at the sites, but see few like mine. It's a 1999 36,000 miles with full BMW service history. BUT, if you're trying to ascertain value it's the old story - 'it's what someone is willing to pay' ! You hit the 'Nail on ...

14 years old, 26,000 miles, garaged 6 months of the year and no whole heap of trouble as yet. Best check under that dust sheet to see if its hasn't disintegrated :) http://s18.postimg.org/9qceqprix/2015.jpg Nope, still OK. Tim. Speaking of looking under the dust sheet..... Re: Z3 Power seat switch
Thanks Gazman68, hopefully Dave will come along with some pics. My seat doesn't go up and down, and, based on what you say, the fastening screws seemed to be reached from underneath, so I might have to remove the seat to get access... Still, it's only 4 more screws... Thanks for your help, Boosh. N...

How easy is it n remove the cap? Can it be pried off, or does it need releasing from inside, ie seat out first? Thanks, Boosh. Looks like Dave has a handle on things now :) Yes there are 3 pozzi screws to release on the plastic side (Side 2 x long Front 1 x short) to gain access to the switch.....y...

My Z3 is now officially for sale, as I have a new Zed arriving next week :D I have had her for 18 months or so, and has been an excellent car and is in genuinely great condition inside and out, as those on here that have seen her will testify. This is a pic of the actual fixing support in my Zed into which the wind break sits. Interesting pic.
