Ok it's getting to that SORN time of year, and thinking of trickle charger for battery. Does it have to be one of those CTEK ones or will a little 4w solar charger permanently hooked be adequate?? To solve the trickle charge problem with the car parked in the drive - there are solar powered items out there which you just leave on the dash when the car is parked up and plug into the cigar lighter or connect to the jump nuts under the bonnet. Search "solar car battery charger" on that...

I will definitely check this out - the battery has been sat in about an inch of water (as i found out when disconnecting it to stop the alarm going off!) So this could possibly be the case?! Not sure about your particular model but check left side of boot/inner wing (you'll need to pull back/remove the mushrooms, and possible rear light backplate which hold the bulbs, to get the felt liner out) - you may find it's full of water and if the motion sensor is down in there................. ...

I'm in agreement with that concept, viz the disappointing Z turnout for Goodwood last Sunday.
