A water leak has recently appeared. It is on the driver's side above the very top point of the quarter window. i can't figure our why it is coming in as the seals seem to be ok. Well actually it rattles even more with the handles closed.

The allen key socket only adjusts the length of the hook as you say. However the pivot points are lower down, one being just accessible but the lower one does not seem to be and unfortunately that's where most of the rattle comes from

It is the fold down type as in the pic - sure I could remove it from the car but then I have no wind deflector, so hardly the most desirable solution.
