I'm going to drop out of this one too, it's raining heavy here now and weather forecast is showing heavy rain yorkshire way untill at least lunch time.. Kinda takes the fun out of of road trip in the convertible :(

Looks like it was still a good drive.
I done my vanos seals & shims instead but it's a bit noisy on warm up so gonna replace the spline gearing next.. At least the cold idle jolt has gone now tho :)

my twin vanos has got this rattle as it warms up, i bought a set of seals and spacers for it too just havent got round to fitting them yet.. it supposedly sorts it out completely.

As per title, if anyone is breaking on really, pas pipe is the high pressure one which bolts in pump and goes to rack, might be the same for other engines but mines a 2.8

Sounds like it's either a faulty crank sensor failing when it's hot or the engine control unit relay in the engine bay

We had our hood replaced by Kelvin Coachtrimmers in Glasgow. Very good job, and it was a BAS hood - all seems problem-free so far. Cost about £500 all in. tinting z3 rear screen

has anyone tinted their rear screen? i was going to use some good quality tint film but i've been told the glue can rot the plastic window.. might still give it ago as its got a none gen rear screen in anyway, and would rather put the genuine one back in 8-) not sure whether the folding of it would ...

there is a mod for putting foil tape behind the interior microwave sensors in the doors, but in some cases they need replacing. faulty bonnet switches are more common tho, get your alarm trigger memories read first.

they are easy enough to do in place if you have access to an air rachet, plenty room around them, quite common for them to split & crack too.
