I had exactly the same problem. Hardly ever used and failed on MOT DOH!!! I removed and cleaned the windscreen water bottle pump (full of congealed windscreen washer additive) which worked for about a week. Replaced with new OEM pump for about £18.00 ish...….cheaper ones are available; but how much ...

I assume we are talking about a Z3 petrol cap??
If so; I obtained from BMW Pt No B16.11.6.756.771, the complete filler cap and rubber lead that normally perishes over time.......£21.90 back in 2015
Personally, I would always go with OEM on an item like this.

Would be best to get some sign grade vinyl, stick it on the magnetics and trim round with a scalpel or sharp knife. I've not seen the sticky one's but again if sign grade vinyl you can apply wet. Sorry to say this but the instructions say spray on carpets and trim. If sprayed on to non absorbent material, it should be wiped off straight away with a damp cloth. Don't blame the product. I use it just to freshen up on carpets only and it's just a faint light fragrance. Hi Billibob Point taken....

Mines in storage for 6 months of the year albeight during the summer. I would never start the car as all your doing is filling the exhaust with water and creating condensation in the cylinder head, just buy a decent battery conditioner like a ctek and leave the Zed well alone until the spring.
