Re: FS: A Few Bits
Whilst I would consider buying it back & stripping it, I have considered it but this depends on a few things:
1. Where to store it whilst doing so
2. Time to do so
3. Whether or not I re-locate to Singapore in a couple of months
Thanks for all your good wishes ..

The car has been written off, due to the cost of replacement parts: bonnet, 2 headlights, front bumper, etc. A great shame but that's life.

Strangely, although I have had the experience of sitting in a Veyron (which is a phenominal car); if I had masses of cash I'd be quite happy with:

But until then, I happily contend myself with an A3 & a Z3 ..

Had mine done about a year ago by Car Hood Warehouse; cost around £450. Have used them previously for previous cars (MX-5, MGF, MGTF, Alfa Spider) & always been happy with the fit/finish. Mind you, may have to take a trip to Swansea next time!

A silly question, but, when you try to open the roof do you firstly lift it a few cm's first? And then do the brake/switch thingy. Also take a look here.

Not sure if this is anything to do with your problem .. but on occasion I find that my zed wont turn over, this is because after releasing the steering lock, it is not quite released, so the keys turn in the ignition but not to the point where the car fires up. Hi,
After some advice on here, I fitted one of these. Had to make a small (5 min) modification due to the earthing nut. But it's worth the money I paid. Just, as has been mentioned, ensure that what you buy is for your engine! Mine's a 6 cylinder & this fits perfectly.
