Re: Rear window replacement. If the outer zip has come away.

Hi Vince> just to say that i have a rear window from (probably the same supplier) The window has been in place for a couple of years now and no issues. The problem i had was installing it on my own.If you have a second pair of hands to help it will be a less frustrating job. Any good with a needle a...

Re: Automatic gearboxes realiability question on all Z3

Hi, I agree with Del's post about "for life" auto fluid. I have an 2001 2.2 M54 engine with a GM auto box.So not exactly what you're asking about.Should you get an auto box I would suggest changing the fluid and filter ,depending on K's.The changes are quick and smooth,no lag and in sport ...

Re: What did you buy your Z3 this week ?

Nolathane Bushes >> front end;drop links + ARB mount bushes for the rear end; diff mount ,subframe,+adjustable camber thingies and drop links oh and oil for the diff. From aceman seat bushes. Well that is an improvement all round ,especially on the twisty bits. Had the rear end work done by Racelign.

Re: ABS and traction lights....

Hi,I had same problem>>cleaned the sensors and the fault disappeared for a few months then came back with a vengeance. Fault code 71 via the engine 20 pin connector.A local electrical magician fixed it the same day.He removed the ABS controller and cut of the top of the case (it's welded on) but did...

I found no need for "modified" spanners but then if i had, i may not have had an 8mm nut over ?
