Re: Roadster valet storage bag - help please

Thanks for all your tips so far. I think the suit bag and homemade retainers and, perhaps, headrest, or roll-bar, hood are a good idea. The other things mentioned too. :) As for Mike's 'article' on packing a Z3, believe me I've had it printed out and in front of me for the last week. It's excellent ...

Roadster valet storage bag - help please

Hi :) Can anyone tell me whether I can buy this in the UK please ? And, if so, where? It's the Roadster Valet for the Z3. http://www.roadstersolutions.com/product662.html We, the missus and I, plan to tour Europe a little, camping, in the summer (France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy), and we are tryi...

CD changer was stuck but managed to fix - May help someone.

Hi! Last week I put the CD magazine into the unit in the boot and the player showed 'No CD'. I tried to eject the magazine, but nada! After a bit of trawling around the forums I found a solution which may be of use to someone in future. I slid an old credit card under the CD unit from left to right ...

I've been away so apologies for the delay replying. It was a private plate Bill, but the 3rd pic is one I took on the test drive, so it's the previous owner's plate. Mine's not a custom plate. I've been to France but, guess what? Without 'my precious' as it was a family 'do'. :( She'd have looked gr...

Hi! Thanks both. Yes, it's immaculate or near as damn it.

The top pic is LLanelli beach looking over to the Gower, the second is from Burry Port Harbour and the third is Haverfordwest, in West Wales, the day I test drove her. :)

My baby ..... My sexy baby!

Well, I've had her for just two weeks and I now know I never want us to be parted. The missus now realises she has some serious competition. :) 2002, 2.2i, 50000 miles on the clock, M-pack, full BMW service history and one owner. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v259/Quintaine/My%20Photos/6424aac1....

Thanks Bill and Aceman. I took your advice and was very careful. A precise squirt of WD-40 did the trick. I was just unsure about unscrewing it at first, but it obviously does. Thanks. :)

Aerial removal on Z3 roadster - Advice please.

Hi! I want to remove the radio aerial from my Z3 roadster so that I can fit a cover over the car when I go away. The owner's manual says that it just twists off, but it seems immovable. I don't want to force it. There is a through-hole at the base of the aerial. Is this for inserting something to tw...

Wind deflector net - Advice please.

Hi! Can someone tell me whether the wind deflector net is worth getting? If that's the case, where's the best (cheapest), place to order one from in the UK? Or should I look on eBay? BMW quoted me £179 for it. Also, are there different ones? My zed will be a 2002 2.2i Thanks for your help. Gelert (2...

Thanks Adam. Thanks for your help. Hopefully, I'll have my lovely Z3 on Tuesday. It was supposed to be yesterday, but hitches and .... things ... say no more ... meant that it wasn't ready. ...... To be honest, I'm champing at the bit!! :?

Thankyou for sorting this out, Phil. :)

I just want to say I'm glad to be here and very excited about collecting my first Roadster, a 2.2i later this week.

Very excited indeed. Apologies for sounding so eager ..... !

Gelert. :)
