Sorry I don't know how to post a link but go into youtube. search on " BMW auto complaint " and listen to the phone call that this guy made to a BMW dealer about his automatic BMW.
It sounds like he has a very similar problem to yours.

Re: Quick question re boot light
The boot light switch is in the boot lock itself. If you look at the left handside of the boot latch which is fastened to the rear panel you will see a prong which locates into the lock which is fitted to the boot lid and presses the switch when the boot is closed. Be carefull the bulb may have been...

It depends on how handy you are with a saw. Its not the right shape for the oem hoops but it can easily be cut and the edge polished with wet and dry

Hi All. I did a really stupid thing last week by closing my bonnet when I had left a torch on top of the suspension turret resulting in this rather nasty dent. http://i1141.photobucket.com/albums/n587/z3bedee/bonnetdent001.jpg It was actually a raised dent but I foolishly convinced myself that I cou...

If you think that you have a sticking caliper simply jack your car up and see if the wheel spins freely by hand. I have had the same problem and the wheel wobble was indeed caused by a sticking caliper. I replaced both front calipers which is an easy DIY job with some refurbished ones from Bigg Red ...

Hi all. I presume this is a common problem as quite a few people have mentioned it to me at meets and on this forum. It concerns the bonnet to bumper gaps at the front.
