Re: Strut brace wanted for Z3 3.0
Hi Mate. I'm selling my E-Tech strut brace separately from the car so PM me if interested. It's currently on a 2.2l sport but may well fit a 3.0 litre? £75 plus a tenner for postage or feel free to collect from Torquay. Bolts straight on using original bolts and clears all the engine bits. http://i1...

Re: 2001 Z3 2.2l Sport for sale
Need the garage space for the bike so it can't go there. Wife's parents are over for a month over Christmas so need a four seater for that. Just can't see the point of it sitting there unused. Went out in it today and it is bloody enjoyable but thern we don't have any rooms to decorate at the moment...

Gutted to have to do it but our lovely Z3 is up for sale :( We're just about to complete on a house and although we don't need the money from the sale for a deposit etc I can't see us being able to use it much in the coming year - I think weekends and summer evenings will be taken up with stripping ...

Don't have a 2.8 - only a 2.2 Sport - but will be selling after Easter. Gutted to have to but we're moving house and will be spending most weekends and evenings doing it up so those lovely roof down drives will have to wait :( Plan is to get a family hatch for now and another Zed when the house is d...

I have a 2001 2.2 Sport with OEM staggered split rims but one of the fronts is corroded to the point of the tyre is not sealing correctly and is letting air out. I've had both fronts off and the tyre centre has rubbed them down as much as poss but within 4 months one has gone as bad as it was before...

Have receipt for new pads and discs all round 19k miles ago and now the brake pad warnign light has come on.
Is this normal mileage for pads or was the previous owner light/heavy on the pedal?
Also is there a preferred make of pad for normal road use?

To end this saga: Got the battery tested today and it's showing 12.6v and 520CCA which is pretty good apparently. Put the bulb back in and pushed the actuator swicth inside the boot lock mechanism and it goes out, so clearly not that causing it to drain. Will have to get it checked properly now. I'd be surprised if your price includes new bolts. When I had my best quote of £100 per loose wheel plus vat there would have been an extra charge if any of the bolts were not re-usable....about £3 each bolt, so with 20-odd bolts that's a lot extra! The guy I spoke to in Exeter has done loads of the...

I should have added that I have seen plenty of Zeds advertised for more than yours and probably not in as good condition/maintained but of course I have no idea if they ever sold. Like I said - I'm sure it'll sell it's just how long you can wait for the buyer who wants one that your car fits the bill.
