Re: Cheap Angel Eye Conversion Kit
Do they take much fitting? I know i had a job to get my e39 5 series headlights apart to fit new adjusters, so wondered if these were similar?

can't say I can hear a clunk but I suppose taking the seat out and having a good look around is as good as any place to start.

Re: seat raise and lower
My passenger seat was stuck in the up position when i bought my 98 2.8. The motor would clunk as if it were trying to move but wouldnt actually move. I freed it up my taking the mounting bolts out of the seat, unplugging the electical connectors in the bottom of the seat with the ignition off , then...

Re: Looking for template for magnetic stoneguards
Just a word of caution about magnetic films on cars. I'm sure that after a few months of themagnet being on the car, it will start causing small rust spots like a rash accross the area where the megnets are applied. BMW paint may be resistant to it but certainly a brand new company Range Rover i ran...

Just changed my Seat Bushes - Thank you!
Hi all, I have this morning replaced my seat bushes, and wanted to publicly thank both Aceman and Earthwormjim for making it so simple. The bushes themselves were a decent price and arrived quickly once I ordered them from Aceman, while EWJ's replacement guide really helped and gave me confidence in...

Thank you for the advice XVar. Im using a netbook which doesnt have a "ports" entry listed in the Control Panel. I think this may be the problem then, perhaps i should be using a proper laptop instead. I use Mac's instead of Windows and thought that the netbook i had laying around might ha...

Maybe its to do with pedal size and shape rather than their position? I find it easier to do in my E39 5 series than my Z.

I would say that's overpriced when these two can be had for under half the price ;) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAG-OBD2-OBDII-409-1-KKL-USB-AUDI-VW-Skoda-Car-Diagnostic-Cable-Interface-UK-/261007454087?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item3cc541af87#ht_4909wt_1396 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/...

I have looked at tht item as well, but it seems rather limited in its application compared to the full interface of a laptop. I owned a Faultmate for my old Range Rovers a few years ago and that was awesome for reading and playing around with all the vehicle systems. Thats what i think i would like ...

I think it's fantastic that you are lavishing so much attention on your Z, but i wonder if it would have been cheaper in the long run to buy a car which was in better condition and didnt need as much attention in the first place?
