I'd definately reccomed 'more than' after my recent write-off of the Z3M, got full market value paid out within 2 weeks and only paid £200 premium (though I am 36yo with 9 years NCB)

I'd go to local motor factors and buy a role of copper pipe and a flaring tool and a set of unions - I did the rear (awkard) ones on my Alpina, everything including flare tool £30 and there was enough pipe left to last a life-time. I definitely can't see past the //M badge on either Z3 or Z4.

Not getting another //M is the hardest pill I'm trying very hard to swallow. Faced with being single and living back at Dads (homeless) and jobless in my home town I know its wiser to spend a little less on fuel etc ATM.

The door cards on the Z3m are a real pain in the arse, easily damaged if you remove it incorrectly. Hi Mate, I did accidentally offer this on here for £65 last week :roll: Good job everyone missed that typo. Prices now tracking ebay but you can buy it now for £75 + postage. Most people seem to be charging £18 to courier making them £100 approx posted. I'm sure I can post for a little less (£10-15)...

If everything is good on inspection it looks like there's a bargain to be had. The warranty and service history will make the decision for you if it's clean and tidy - I expect they will take £7000 for it too which is a good price, it worth more than that if condition is good.

Any good vehicle trimmer will fit the roof for you. To give you an idea a new window costs about £50-£70 to fit at a top-end trimmers near me. The fitting of the roof is far easier on the frame than off so that helps. Personally I'd buy a new OEM window and get someone to fit the new roof and window...
