we've just had the boot not opening with the remote and it was the lock sticking with lack of use.WD40 on the lock,pressed it a few times to allow the WD40 to get in and around and it was fine.

Just tried to part-ex a 1997,1.9,new clutch,new exhaust,new battery vs a £6K 320D and was offered £500.I insisted on £1,250 and the guy phoned later offering £1K.Keeping the zed till it's a scrapper.

I worked at Champion Spark Plugs for nearly ten years.Standard Plugs are capable of 60k miles but you'll understand why they don't broadcast that.Bosch manufacture plugs which are quality and low price.We always saw NGK as the plug to beat.The Japanese don't make ....!

You can mix oil.I usually use one brand of oil for the oil change and then use any brand,same viscosity, for top up between servicing.

Our zed has an advisory on rear brake pipes.We took it to an indie for other work who commented on the pipes and quoted £200 to replace.However,i left it and put it into it's next MOT expecting it to fail.It passed,still an advisory.my advice,don't panic.

I think between £5k-£5.5k.A car is better when driven and maintained than just sitting there.Plastics and rubbers break down,parts still corrode and break.The low mileage is a huge selling point but doesn't turn it into a £9k car.

I purchased both door mirrors in the colour i required from a breakers in Manchester for £250.Surely this is a more cost effective way than buying bits for £100+.I understand the thinking but not the price paid.Imho,it's good information but the price seems high.
