debadging
having the ChipsAway guy round soon to sort out a little spot of rust under the boot release and was thinking of debadging the car. I think having a cleaner look will suit the car better, I have the 3.0i Sport currently badged with Z3 & 3.0i. Does anyone have a debadged facelift model, if so I'd...

Carcoon would be awesome but I am sure my neighbours wouldn't love it that much. :D Car in a living room... Now the only thing I need is to remove kitchen to extend the living room, fit bigger doors in place of what-used-to-be-kitchen windows, fit a massive lift to second floor and I'm set. :D Chee...

hi Jani. I've chipped in before on this topic as I use the Halfords small car cover and its just fine. I'm on my second one now, they cost about £60 but they are a near perfect fit for the Z3, I've never had a problem with scratching, in my experience I have more problems with dust/grit being on the...

Zed (2002 3.0 Sport) passed its MOT last week but there were a few advisories, wondered if you helpful lot could throw any advice my way as to how to proceed... 1) n/s and o/s front suspension arm corroded but not seriously weakened 2) n/s and o/s rear brake pipe slightly corroded 3) o/s front wish ...

Re: Z3m vs 3.0i
I did the 3.0i to ///MR conversion back in 2006. The reviews above tell the story very well. The 3.0i is a FAB car, no doubt about it, but in the end it's all down to the amount of cash you can spare. The ///MR is a simply phenomenal piece of kit at today's prices, and is the ultimate Z3, so if you...

good to read all you comments, this is a great forum! I guess it all comes down to compromise in the end. As my Zed is purely a "3 litre staight 6 mid life crisis" which gets taken on weekend jollies round Wales and off to the pub on Sundays, it really ticks most of the the boxes for me, i...

I'm sure this has been discussed at length before but....... I wouldnt bother at all with any kind of pressure washer. They are designed to strip embedded dirt from slabs and patio's... I would instead use the money to invest in some A class detailing products. I HIGHLY recommend anything by Poor Boy... Especially Blackhole, blew me away when I first used it...

Hi ...don't hesitate to grab a 3.0, I have a 3.0 2002 sport model and its absolutely brilliant, but you won't get 35mpg in my experience. 30mpg is tops even on the motorway and you'll get 22 - 25 round town, but if your worried about mpg get a Prius!!
