1.9 instrument cluster lamps how many should i have?
Hi i suspect i am missing some of my cluster lamps does anyone know the correct loadout of warning lamps for the bottom row of the cluster in a 97 1.9 i ask as i have no lamps in any of the engine related sockets bar the standard oil pressure and charging positions but a full set for the brakes seat...

This week has seen the fitting of 2 new rear tires and inspired by threads in the knowledge base i have fixed the broken wires
i didn't know i had in the boot lid and made and fitted new spacers in the seats so now i can brake without feeling
like i am about to nut the steering wheel

Does seem a bit smelly!
I also understood it that an import or a previously un registered car MUST be fitted with an age related plate.
i assume it is an anti fraud / ringing rule so this car is either a dvla error or its bent

Well as everyone got bored with that the photos were taken on Whitehorse hill on the wilts berks border about 5 miles from my house
there are some lovely roads in the area for a hoon and its a great place for photography (as long as you can keep the bobble hats out of shot )

yep my drivers door window motor had managed to shear most of the spot welds holding the motor bracket to the door frame :head: fixed mine by copious amounts of drilling and fitting nuts n bolts in place of the failed welds so far so good long term i will weld it or replace the door if a matching on...

thanks to all I have already ripped the induction apart and cleaned the maf, intake temp sensor and checked the pipework and i am confident its in good order idle and normal running is fine and smooth so i am leaning toward the Cam sensor as well i will be ordering a new one. still where are the ign...

This morning i have been mostly replacing the thermostat and housing.
And what an utter T*** of a job it was too!
only managed to shear one bolt off took me an hour of faffing to sort it out.
