The A/C condenser fan operates when it wants to, not when you think it should! It was obviously reducing the temperature of the hot - and therfore gasified- refrigerant which had been pumped into it while you were driving, so providing a reserve of liquified gas to make the A/C operate normally as ...

Pictorial instructions for extracting the spare are printed on a label on the reverse of the boot floor carpet. Shell V Power for me…I actually work in the industry and have seen the engines sawn in half as they use 2 fuel tanks during tests etc….the uprated fuels always come though perfect… Shell is moving to gas to liquid (GTL) technology - I am not 100% sure whether UK V Power is formulated with that yet…,...

Finally got hold of a hardtop & OEM bag - does anyone have any of the black plastic "clasp covers" lying around unused at all? i.e. the little black covers that slip over the pins when the roof is off?

All fixed -
ABS fault was related to a DSC/ABS rear cable…..once it was replaced and car had driven about 50 ft/20 mph, the fault cleared…..
Local india ran check and on it and identifed fault, who then re-bled my brakes and set up handbrake cable a little better than me…..(car passed MOT today)...

Ok, ordered, applied and coated with BMW impregnator....looks good, just feels a little rougher than before but overall the colour is very uniform. I released the tension from the roof when I did it, to allow the fluid more chance to get in.....

The tool in your link will only do the service lights, it will not reset the airbag light.
