Spotted in Cleethorpes // Z3M Coupe & Blue Z3

Spotted you over Christmas, including waving back and forth to the Blue Z3.

That Z3M was turning some heads, including a chap in the chippy I was stood in as I saw it who said 'Whoa, look at that Z4!' :D

Re: 1.9 Z3 Arctic Silver, breaking for spares

Might be interested in the rear/center storage box as I want a spare for potentially returning mine to standard, and the gear knob.

... and pending the price - perhaps the whole roof? Would have to be cheap on that though. And probably some more bits n bobs since I'm in Manchester also.

Re: Airbag/seat belt Light Diagnosis

Its more to do with it losing connection momentarily because the cable loom was poorly designed, I've read just about every post on the subject across multiple forums and it's a lot more common than you would think. Clearing the codes with INPA etc should rewrite the memory to allow them to fail aga...

Re: Airbag/seat belt Light Diagnosis

or. If like with the other module, it's actually NOT table 38 like it says, and it's actually table 40. then it would be:

1b (crash telegram memory)
F0 (control unit fault, internal error)
1A (Seat occupied recognition 1 (SBE1)

... gosh, I feel helpless here heh.

Re: Airbag/seat belt Light Diagnosis

Update: My car is in pieces (centre console removed) and I'm just as confused as ever, so upsetting. I bought a replacement control unit on ebay (wasn't cheap) which matched the unit in my car exactly. I've just taken the centre console out (gosh I hope I can put it back together again) to access th...

Re: Airbag/seat belt Light Diagnosis

I've managed to source a replacement AIrbag Module with matching part number etc.

Hopefully it arrives this week, I'll swap them over and give the B800 another try and see if it has any luck.

Fingers Crossed :)

Airbag/seat belt Light Diagnosis

Hello there! I was casually reaching around under my seat one day to find some change for a car park ticket machine, and on came the dreaded 'airbag / seat belt light'. It's now MOT time and I've been trying a few different ways to clear this light, assuming that there isn't an actual fault in the c...

Re: Wanted: Z3 Hard Top or Soft Top

I'm a large guy, 6'3 105kg weightlifting coach, he looked about 5ft, a drug riddled middleaged scrawny looking chap. He basically **** himself and pleaded with me to let him go, which I did grudgingly after giving him a VERY strict telling off, he was still apologising about 100ft up the road... Spi...

Epic! Well done! I'll be doing a full build log, and posting it here - I intend to use the existing storage boxes and cut into them etc, I doubt I'll ever be getting rid of this car so I'm not concerned with having an OE replacement ready... so it may not be for everyone. But it should look (and obv...

How much would you want for the power steering cooling pipe (the black pipe infront of the radiator)? and if its any easier, all the piping leading to the pump etc. Mines a bit rusty and some of the pipes are seeping on mine

Yup, I've got some temporary replacement rear shockers for now, which I've removed the rust and resprayed to tidy them up.

But I'm sold on the idea of lowering, so how have you found this kit? Price range is what I'm expecting to pay for a quality setup.

Which suspension kit to go for...

Hello there, I'm a rather urgent situation where I need to replace a rear shock for an MOT fail on my Z3 2.0 ... and instead of buying an OE shock I thought it might be a good time to upgrade to some better suspension. as a source, I've only really used ebay - and looking at it, they have cheap kits...
