Purchased a spare key from dealers on Friday. It's a coded key that opens all doors locks etc. unlike the service key which apparently only opens the doors and starts engine. So I decided on the castrol 10w60. And wow what a difference.

Engine is smooth and quiet. Lovely sound. It was only something like 6k since last change but really does make a difference.

Recommend it to anyone for the s50 engine.

My mistake, power steering fluid is fine! Got it on a ramp and checked all the hoses. It looks like a small leak from the drivers side somewhere. It's really minamal so will get an expert to check it out this week.

So a bit of research has thrown up what looks like a number of choices for engine oil:

Fuchs Titan race pro s: 5w40
Castrol edge for M models: 10w60

Any others, or advise where to buy??

Few more bits today, ACS doorpins, to replace the M power ones, keep inline with the other ACS stuff. Been looking on ebay etc, and can't seem to find a replacement key!! Obviously ill need the casing and the internals. Blank key blade, and programmable internals (I assume at BMW???) anybody have any ideas, or is it off to BMW dealers??

Unfortunately it looks like motion Motorsport don't have any anymore.
