Stupid question but is opening the bleed screws the only way to check for air in the system?

Yes it warms up when I rev it. I replaced the water pump and viscous coupling about 18 months ago and have done maybe 1500 miles since.

Heater issue

My heater works fine when I'm driving along but when I come to a stand it blows cold.

Does anyone know what's causing this?

Many thanks , Stevie

Re: Roof Microswitch Testing HELP

I had a similar problem when I first bought my Zed.

Turned out to be the switch in the centre console which I replaced with one from a 3 series convertible
from the local scrapyard. Cost = £10.

Re: Shocks and springs

So the ones in the advert are B12. This would be ok too right? Found the whole kit for £532 delivered from the link posted above. The installation is a job you can do yourself isn't it? It doesn't look too difficult. Cheers , Stevie No, not too hard if you're handy with a socket set. The worst part...

Shocks and springs

Guys I wonder if someone could point me in the right direction. I'm looking at replacing my front and rear shocks and springs but don't really know what to buy. I'm looking at lowering my 1997 2.8 by 30 mm all round. Would these be the correct items to buy? http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/pro...

Oh dear that doesn't look too good.

Such a shame but probably worth more if it's broken up for parts.

The hinge point... Do you mean the point on the bulkhead end or the floor ?

Also how difficult it is to replace the cable ?

I can't find any guides online.

Accelarator pedal

My accelarator pedal goes down to the floor but doesn't return to the normal position when I lift my foot.

The mechanism under the bonnet opens but doesn't close.

Will replacing the cable fix this? (Fingers crossed)

I'm finally getting round to replacing my rusty spare.
The rusty one is a 125/90/15.
Would a 125/90/16 fit in the allocated storage space ?

I'm getting a Longlife system fitted on Tuesday in Basingstoke.

£350 from the cat to the tailpipe.

Can't wait as this will be the 1st mod that I'll have had done since I bought my Zed.
