Having done the wide arch conversion to a 1.9, I know you need the following parts:
Rear wings, sills, rear bumper, wheel arch liners and the longer rubber shroud for the fuel filler neck.
Hope it helps?

I had a 1997 z3 that had the same symptoms. It turned out my cat was disintegrating and pieces kept blocking the exhaust. When I switched of and back on they dislodged and it was ok again until the next piece blocked it. I read similar codes to you (plugging into the round socket in the engine bay) ...

It has now been sold.

I used to do mine with 2500 wet and dry (used wet) then G3 cutting compound and a rotary polisher. A little tip I learned was to use a polish like Autoglym super resin followed by a coating or two of wax to stop them clouding again. Just kept up the waxing and they were fine. The first ones I did st...

i did it the other way around and fitted Apex 3.0ltr springs to a 1.9. they took it really low and they were stiff as you would expect as they were designed for a heavier car. i would expect the 1.9 springs to rated differently and not really suitable for a 2.8. i am currently back on m-tech springs...

just another thought....... put a washer behind the head of the bottom shock bolts. these can sometimes bottom out in the hole and cause the shock to rattle. this will then reverberate up through the top mounts and make it sound like they are rattling.
