Does anyone have any experience of using the above to fit a phone into a Z3? Your thoughts on quality, fit etc would be appreciated, they are expensive to buy and I want to make sure it fits ok, any pro`s/con`s etc. Thanks, Steve.

Bit of a stupid question really, how do the grills come off? Are they in two parts and you remove the inner first or the outer first? How do the clips come apart, lever with a screwdriver? Thanks, Steve.

Tyres (again!!)

At present I have Conti Sport 2`s all round and am pleased with the performance. However I have a slow puncture in the OSR ( ) and am looking to change the rear pair, which is a bit of a bugger as they have at least 6mm of tread left. I`ve read various comments on keeping all four corners the...

Just thought I`d comment on the Halfrauds Professional Tools, I`ve had a number of them during the years and generally found them to be of good quality. In this situation the bolts are not "rusted" in, they seize as a result of electrolytic reaction between two dissimilar metals. i.e the alloy head and the zinc plated bolt. If you are taking out the old ones then I would suggest giving the point at which the bolt meets the head a good dosi...

The Z3 appears in the Dec issue of Classic MNotoring on page 62. The article was 7 different sports cars that are a bit more "modern". The Z was described as "grossly underrated" and "with it`s long muscular bonnet and stubby tail it looks pleasingly retro but not overtly so...

Okay Chaps, See the pictures attached for the wire, This is located in the interior mirror arm and comes from the header rail. Newbie & Z3 2.2i

Chaps, going to view a 2001 2.2i Z3 tomorrow so what do I look for?

VANOS?? Is it as bad as some say or related to the S50 (?) series engine only?

DISA Valve? Does it make that much noise when going/gone?

Boot floor? Do I need to worry about that on a 2.2 litre engine?

Thanks

Steve.
