Just to update you guys,
I took out the resonator, did a straight pipe out to the VAREX muffler that I installed.
Here are some pics and the soundclip

Cat Delete on a 2.8 Z3
Hi guys, thinking of taking my cat out and replacing it with a resonator or a 2.5 inch straight pipe. Has anyone tried doing this? Btw, im sporting an axle back magnaflow replica. Don't want to get too loud and drown IN DRONE.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Z3 Correct Rim offset on Staggered Rims & Wheel Options
I have 18's with 35 offset on my rears, but with a 9" wheel width fitted with 255/35/18 tyres. I also have 5mm spacers on them with no rubbing issues and the car is lowered 30mm. I don't think that the wheel width being 9.5" should be a problem as long as they are fitted with the correct ...

Re: Z3 Correct Rim offset on Staggered Rims & Wheel Options
A 235/40/18 would look a bit "tall" on your car. I would run 225/40/17 and 255/35/17. The ET35 offset on the rear should be ok, it's 5mm further out than et40 of course, but not a lot, and with a 255 tyre shouldn't rub, Hi Bud, Thanks for the reply, you were reffering to 225/40/18 & 2...

Z3 Correct Rim offset on Staggered Rims & Wheel Options
Hi Guys, I'm in the market for some staggered 18's for my 2.8 Z, So far I've seen a lot of 18x8.5 offset 35 and 18x9.5 offset 35 as well. I just noticed that some of the guys here have offset 40 on their rear. Is that the correct offset? So that I won't have fender rubbing issues? I was thinking of ...
