Glad you found a home for it instead of braking it. The fixing kit, does it have the plastic covers and the little electric cable with it? Mine appears a cheap aftermarket copy.

Hi, Not sure why you say some are single skinned and facelift double skinned. All the ones I have seen, pre and post, have a single skin over a framework. The dimples are on the edge of the framework, albeit some can be faint. I have the BMW fitting sheets that refer to these dimples and makes no re...

That looks nicely engineered avoiding high loading on a small area the problem with other versions, don't want any fractured floors!! Have you arrived at a price for 25mm ones? That said what is your suggested height, I know it's a personal one. Surprised no-one else has expressed interest.

Re: Meyle Front Wishbones and other parts
Meyle is OE quality stuff, Lemforder is another. I personally would use a trusted seller such as BMW Motormec, always found them helpful. Many use the 'M' version rear bushing with solid rubber as it is supposed to help control 'tram lining'. Avoid cheapo stuff, Meyle is excellent!

Re: Anyone know how to remove this piece of trim?
No roof switch under that trim, just an electrical connector block. To remove the trim, peel back the rubber boot that sits at the top of the door rubber seal just by the stud that the tonneau clips on. Under that rubber boot you will see a bolt, that bolt passes through into the trim you are wantin...

If you lift the gaitor up you should find the connector lying in front (behind it) of the gear lever, the wires from your illuminated gearknob simply push into the connector. Ensure you route the wires to the top of the gear lever correctly as if you get a short it takes your panel lights out. Nice ...

Laurence @LMMarks, the coolant temp sensor sits on the side of the cylinder head towards the rear, right under the inlet manifold next to the fuel supply/return pipes, a right pig to get at too! Hope that helps.
