Re: Very Reluctant Possible Sale of Z3 2.2 M Sport Black 200
Sadly it's not my daily driver as I have a company car for that, and the wife has her own too, purely pleasure and you have hit the nail on the head ! I either keep it and lock it away, or sell it. Really I'm 50/50 ... If I got the asking price I think it would go to a new home.. If not it stays.

Thing is when it's hot I put the roof down .... If it's wet and the roofs up it doesn't go out so I don't see the need for it. I'm sure it's working fine and would check it if some was interested.

Re: Very Reluctant Possible Sale of Z3 2.2 M Sport Black 200
HA HA HA .... I do feel a real sense of regret already as the car is honestly a joy, and has made me smile from ear to ear ! I know if it had the rest of the work done it would be worth a lot more, but its not about the money for me, its about the experience and that is priceless. I do think we will...

Very Reluctant Possible Sale of Z3 2.2 M Sport Black 2001
Hi all, So here it is, 2 months after buying this little beauty, my wife tells me she is pregnant, sadly the wife can't go (she knows too much :-), and digging the patio up is way too much trouble as I'm useless at gardening). I'm very undecided at this point what to do with ZEB, so I'm going to pop...

Z3 2.2 M Sport Side Sills
Hi Anyone know where I can buy a pair of Side Sills, my mate will paint them as he has a paint shop, however my sills are bubbled so rather than repair I'd be better off getting new ones as this will keep the rust away and also I don't want a car full of filler ! I'm having the Front Bumper painted,...

Re: BMW Z3 2.2 M Sport upgrades advice
After the above I'm not sure I dare ask this....I noticed the plug was not connected on top of the air filter (I guess the air mass sensor). Plugged it in and I notice no difference ! Therefore I can only assume the car will now regulate air intake and should be more effiecent now plugged in ? I gue...

Re: BMW Z3 2.2 M Sport upgrades advice
Holy cow that's some discussion on filters. I may stick with the OEM version for now. The Poorboys Black hole glaze I use does make the paint work look lovely ! It's not a long term product but then this is not a daily driver so its ideal. For me poorboys glazes are really good as they leave the pai...

Re: BMW Z3 2.2 M Sport upgrades advice
Thanks, I've never actually changed any fluids before and don't have access to a ramp otherwise I'd have a go. Hence thought it may be simpler to have a garage do it? I'm pretty good at DIY, as I have already replaced all the interior bulbs including the ones behind the air controls ! Nightmare !! P...

BMW Z3 2.2 M Sport upgrades advice
Hi all, I'm thinking of some upgrades to my Zed, however before I invest in parts etc I thought I'd get your advice. The conflict I have is personally I do avoid cars that have been "modified or tampered with" (so much so I avoided cars with aftermarket head units) so can't decide if the b...

Re: BMW Z3 2.2 Decarbonised Terraclean Engine
I didn't see them at carfest north last year, but I did watch wheeler dealers and thought it would work on my 2001 Zed, I'm impressed!
We are going to south this year to mix it up however notice Jools holland is going to the North so may have made a mistake but we wanted a change.

Re: Terraclean for 2.2 V6 Z3 2001
I can honestly say the Terraclean worked well. I had it done at Tuna Motorsport in Keyworth Nottingham and the guys there are brilliant. (I notice the midland Nissan Skyline owners club use this guy also). The service was £105 plus I paid £10 for the test before and after. Before the car was reading...

BMW Z3 2.2 Decarbonised Terraclean Engine
Hi All I treated my 2001 92k Z3 2.2 Msport to the new Terraclean service today at Tuna Motorsport Keyworth Nottinghamshire. The results were amazing ! (As seen on wheeler dealers) The emissions CO2 % before the service was 0.161 with the MOT failure at 0.200, after the service the re test showed 0.0...

Water Collecting In The Petrol Filler Cap
Hi,
I've noticed water is not draining from the fuel filler cap area, it was full of dirt which I've cleared but shouldn't the water drain through a hole in the rubber boot? I can't see a hole to clear it?
Any quick fixes as I don't want the water to collect and rust.
Cheers
Fawdy

Terraclean for 2.2 Z3 2001
Hi So I have decided to have my engine treated to the new terraclean service to clean the fuel injection system and remove all carbon deposits. They say it improves performance, and MPG by up to 14% plus reduces emissions to the same levels as when it left the factory in 2001. All for £105.00... I'l...
