This is the adjustable part for the new spring, and the rubber gromit is what was origianlly on the car. Although the gromit will fit nicely into the adjuster. they wont go over the knob bit of the car, which is why i didnt put it back on. Can anyone suggest how or if i should put it back on, and if...

yes its really high, the complete opposite of what i want, but when i try to adjust it, the whole adjustable caliper spins round so it wont adjust

I have recently purchased a vinyl plotter and was thinking it would be nice if i could cut out some of stone guards that go on the side panels.

Got to be honest it is confusing me a little. So the wheels i have bought have a smaller offset than the originals et 15 front and et17 on the rear, the original bmw wheels are et41.
but the new wheels with the smaller offset stick out to far.

I have bitten the bullet and chucked them back on feebay.
Will do a bit more research next time!
I do like the standard wheels, but there is something about having a wheel style that shows the deeper wheel on the rear, i think they call it deep dish!

Yep thanks to BladeRunner919 for the link, i got the ET of the stock wheels which is 41 front and 41 back, but the new wheels are 15 front and 17 back, so quite a big difference

Hi Guys.
Bit of a random novice question here, but i have just ordered some new adjustable coil overs as i would like to lower the Z3 just a bit.
Other than the coilover kit itself do i need any other replacement parts, or is it simply swapping out old for new?

No inner lining. my original didn't. i thought they added that in the facelift models?
That said it is noticeably quieter with the new roof, i guess because of the shrinking around the window seals on the old one
