Re: A brief warning
Reckon a deer would have made a bigger hole in the grille, but at least the dogs might have left some for me.

A brief warning
Evenin' all, A true and tragic tale, heading home down one of our many country lanes I saw a rabbit run across the road ahead of me, then run back again. And then run back again. Too late to avoid it, heard a clunk from the front of the Z, stopped and had a look but couldn't see anything in the road...

Re: Tyres - A post to accumulate members' experience
Evening all I've noticed a few people mentioning that they don't know how old their tyres are, if you look closely at the sidewalls of the tyres you'll find a four-figure code, normally quite small but easily seen once you know it, and normally only on one side of the tyre. It'll be something like 2...

Re: What did you buy your Z3 this week ?
Actually bought them last week, but only got them on this evening, a set of Spax VSX dampers and springs from Larkspeed. Only had a short drive with them fitted so far but seems good, one unexpected bonus is that the metallic-sounding ting-ting noise from somewhere in the back end seems to have gone...

Re: Tyres - A post to accumulate members' experience
Hi all, Had some Avon ZZ3s (of course) fitted a short while ago, 225/45-17 fronts, 245/40-17 rears, not the XL version and, would you believe it, the tramlining has gone. Will have to wait a while to see if it comes back, but good so far.Went from North Wales to Taunton and back yesterday with a lot...

Re: And about time, too.
Came as a surprise to me, used to have a 2.8 e36 with around 240000 miles on it when I sold it and that never used a drop. From what I can make out from browsing the interweb it seems to be caused by too much gentle driving whilst fairly new, the oil control rings get gummed-up, and the oil consumpt...

And about time, too.
I've been lurking about, peeping at this site for quite a while now, and thought it was time to say hello. Hello. There, that's that done. Bought my Z3 last year, and been very happy ever since, with the car at least. It's yet another 2.2, Topaz because that's the prettiest colour, and the only draw...
