Re: has anyone got (or had) an E46?

Slightly sideways on this thread. My wife drives a 3.0 Z3. She loves it but also likes my E46 330i tourer. Goes just as well power wise, just not quite like a go cart round corners. I know my E46 isn't a soft top but it's still fun to drive. Always puts a smile on my face. If you need info about E46...

Re: What did you buy your Z3 this week ?

Had the seats refurbished last week. Black with Blue centre. Looks like new. Work done by Midland Mars in Bloxwich. Nice guys. They said they had just done another Z3 with a cream interior in Solihull. Does this one belong to anyone on this forum as I am not far from Solihull. Anyway, very pleased. :)

Re: Brushed aluminium centre console

Hi, Would have replied sooner but couldn't find parts. I have now found a brushed aluminium centre console. I replaced it with a wooden one so is not needed. Are you still looking ? If so, pm me and I will try to take some photo's to make sure it's the right one for your model as it came off a 2003 ...

That sounds like a good idea, but won't you have to feed the protector now and again ?

Re: AutoGlym Odour Eliminator - BEWARE!

Sorry to say this but the instructions say spray on carpets and trim. If sprayed on to non absorbent material, it should be wiped off straight away with a damp cloth. Don't blame the product. I use it just to freshen up on carpets only and it's just a faint light fragrance.

Welcome Big Al. We have had our 3.0 Z3 just over 6 months now. I have a smile on my face every time I drive it. I am also in Birmingham. :P

Re: Strut Brace questions

Fitted one to my 3.0 ltr about 3 months ago. Not a massive difference but is still noticeable. I think straight one's are better as no chance of flexing, as this is why you would fit one.
I also fitted one on my E46 330 tourer around the same time, same effect. 8-)

Re: Cloudy Rear Window

I bought a product from ebay. Plastic window polish cleaner from a seller named mymgcar. Cost about £10.50 posted. It's a 100ml bottle and it works very well.
