Re: Zed police
That's how I need to get my interior looking but keep finding other jobs to do! I have a spoiler like mx5 to go on which is adjustable for racing. Sponsor is also looking to develop a carbon fibre version but first job is carbon/kevlar roof!

Re: WANTED: ABS Pump 34.51-1164896
I'm planning on removing my ABS pump at some point in the near future as I don't want it in for racing. Its from a 2.8ltr presume same component?

Re: BMW Z3 race car
Time for a long overdue update! I usually cruise the forums on my lunch break but work have changed the IT policy and I can't get on forums  Anyway finally got the car ready for its track outing right at the last minute. I only had time to remove the drivers seat, to do this I managed to get t...

Re: z3 seat
I've been removing mine to turn into a race car but had to cut the mounting due to them being stuck. They raised and lowered ok so that part should be intact. Which side do you need?

Re: BMW Z3 race car
I'll do the same trick with the fog lights, cheers. I'll run the yellows to start with seeing as I've got them then up grade when ever needed.
Taking the front suspension off today, what a ball ache! So much rust and cross threaded bolts!

Re: BMW Z3 race car
Brian - how did you sort out your brake cooling? I haven't got around to having a good look around that area yet. I won't be needing fog lights so could use that area to direct airflow.

Based on Brian's comments above I may well be selling on my brand new set and fitting the Blue pads! There's a Marshal in the company who offers very good deals to other Marshals so got the deal through him.

Re: BMW Z3 race car
Oh yes, I have 9 days straight to get as much done as I can! Went for EBC yellow stuff pads as I can get a very good deal with EBC. Yellow stuff seemed the most appropriate as my races are 15min long and the red stuff tend to take a bit to warm up, whereas the yellow stuff are good from cold. I'll s...

Re: Z3 leather seats
I have a complete interior that's coming out of my car as its being race prepared. leather heated and motorised seats in black and purple (suspect a rare combination). It would come with matching door cards and even good condition original mats. The rest of the interior would be available too if you...

Here are a couple of pictures of all the parts about to go on the car next week. Re: BMW Z3 race car
The RM series is more severe than the RA which is what I'm after, I suspect the kit you have is probably more suitable to those wanting to track days and not so much the daily drive

Re: BMW Z3 race car
I'll post up a list of race dates later as we go all over the country, bound to be a circuit near you at some point during the year :) the furthest south we go is Castle Combe in September as i'm missing the Brands Hatch round. Coilovers - went for the BC racing RM set as they have inverted dampers ...

BMW Z3 race car
After completing 4 seasons racing a Mk1 MR2 I had to take a 2 year break to support my now ex's business idea (that failed!). For 2015 I will be returning to the circuit and as I already have 2 BMW's decided to add a third, narrowed down my options between the E46 330ci or a Z3 (to fit into series c...

Re: 2.8 engine into a 2 litre body??
I have the car serviced by an excellent BMW technician who has his own business and is in the process of building a Z3 race car and knows a fair amount about the BMW range so I'll ask him for his advice as well. Regards Whose building a Z3 race car? I'm doing the same thing myself so would be inter...

Long time BMW owner new to Z3's
Hi all, I've owned BMW's for a long time (still have a 1996 328isport coupe and a 1987 528i) and shortly before Christmas I purchased a 1998 2.8ltr Z3 with the intention of turning it into a race car. So no doubt I'll end up asking lots of silly questions as well as trying to flog the bits on the ca...

Re: Mallory Park meet and track parade
My first post to this forum! Would be great to see a bunch of Z3's at this meeting as it just so happens this will be my first race event in my Z3! I will be running in the Deustche Series as part of the Track Attack Race Club. So I'd be up for the parade and would be great to have some support
